Welcome to The Makers Space
Tala, Paphos, Cyprus
Nestled in the hills of Tala, just a short distance from the Agios Neophytos Monastery, The Makers Space is a vibrant, creative community where artists, potters, and makers come together to learn, share, inspire, create and grow.
Since opening in September 2019, The Makers Space has been proud to lead as Cyprus’s first open-access, membership-based pottery studio. We are more than a workspace—we’re a place where creativity thrives through collaboration, support, and a shared commitment to continuous learning.
The Studio
Our fully equipped ceramics studio offers flexible membership options designed to welcome artists at all stages of their journey—from beginners exploring clay for the first time to professionals developing their practice or teaching others. It’s a space to work independently, exchange ideas, or simply enjoy the process of making in a friendly, inclusive environment.
The Gallery
The Gallery at The Makers Space showcases the richness and diversity of contemporary visual art in Cyprus. Our seasonal “This is Me” series of exhibitions, and special shows throughout the year offer collaborative and individual opportunities for emerging and established artists to exhibit their work and connect with new audiences.
The Makers Gift Shop
A celebration of local talent, The Makers Gift Shop features original work made in our studio, alongside carefully curated pieces from artists and craftspeople across Cyprus. Every item tells a story of skill, creativity, and a love for the handmade.
The Pot Shop
The Pot Shop supports studios and ceramic artists island-wide with a broad range of pottery tools, materials, and equipment at fair prices—because we believe in removing barriers to creativity and helping others grow.
